WA Police Legacy is a charitable organisation formed in 1992 to assist with the welfare of Police Officers’ families to ensure they are not in want of assistance and support when they lose a loved one.

Our Values

  • Compassion

Appreciate and practice sensitivity to the difficulty of others.

    Express kindness, care and empathy.

Recognise the impact we have on Police Legacy Stakeholders.

  • Integrity

Act in accordance with the Police Legacy values.

Demonstrate honesty and transparency in all interactions, decision making and activities.

Place the service of others above self.

  • Respect

Treat each other in the same way we treat those we serve.

Accept others for who they are to foster a caring and safe environment for service.

Assist Police Legacy Stakeholders to self-determination rather than deciding individual’s needs.

  • Trust

    Create trusting and enduring relationships.

Act with discretion in the activities of the Board and service to Police Legacy Stakeholders.

Contribute to building trust through the creation of certainty, confidentiality and support for Police Legacy Stakeholders.
