Details:
On 19th of June 1952, Motorcycle Patrol Constable Tully was killed in a traffic crash about half a mile from the Belmont Police Station, where he was the Officer in Charge.
Constable Tully was on patrol when his police motorcycle and sidecar, crashed into the rear off side of a truck parked on the Great Eastern Highway near the Sandringham Hotel.
The motorcycle overturned, throwing Constable Tully onto the roadway, he was taken to Royal Perth Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Constable Tully who was given a Police funeral.
He left behind a wife and two children.
